In spring of 2017 a young daughter of one of our members died unexpectedly. Walt's Trooper Factory got involved with other builders to help Becka's mother do some fundraising in support of suicide awareness. We built two helmets in the kind of flair that matched her personality.
In the words of her mother: "I would like to thank everyone who was apart of Becka’s TIE helmet. There are no words to truly express our thanks for the love and support shown daily from the Golden Gate Garrison, JRS and Walt’s Trooper Factory, especially Rick Smith, EJ Harland, Charles “Woodchuck” Bowman, Walter Vongher, Sebastian John, Adam Petersen and Vince Vigil for Becka’s helmet and handmade stand. It is because of acts of love like these we are able to find happiness in our time of sorrow and it will never be forgotten.
Becka has shown us to make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take everything from it that you possibly can..... for you may never be able to experience it again.
Thank you again everyone and we hope you have a very merry Christmas!"
